For the past 6 years,
"Shoot" for the Cause
hosts an Autism Awareness Charity Basketball Tournament for men 18 years old and older. Our goal for this tournament is to raise autism awareness and raise money to help give back to the community in various ways.

For the past 5+ years,
"Shoot" for the Cause
participates in the Hollidaysburg Halloween parade. In conjunction with Americhem, a local janitorial supply company, we decorate floats and large box trucks to help raise Autism Awareness. We throw "blue" candy, autism bracelets, pencils, t-shirts. Rolls of toilet paper has also been thrown! years old and older. Our goal is once again to raise Autism Awareness in our community.

For the past 5+ years,
"Shoot" for the Cause
has had a walk team at the local WALK NOW FOR AUTISM SPEAKS. Autism Speaks is a national organization that raises awareness, helps families, and conducts research.


For the past 6 years,
"Shoot" for the Cause
hosts an Autism Awareness Charity Basketball Tournament We have raised more than $20,00 through the tournament and with the wonderful support of our local businesses.
At the 5th Annual Autism Awareness Charity Basketball Tournament,"Shoot" for the Cause was able to donate an ipad and cases to a non-verbal boy from our community!

Proceeds from the 6th Annual Autism Awareness Charity Basketball Tournament were kept locally. "Shoot" for the Cause donated to The Journey Center (a local ABA Therapy Center). They were one of four local organizations that received $500. The Journey Center used the money to purchase a large jungle gym style castle playset, including climbing area, door bell, and slide.
